You just stopped,
And now I feel extremely dumb for saying what I did,
Waiting by my phone,
Awaiting your message to come through,
Awaiting the light to blink,
For the screen to say,
"1 message received"
But it's not happening,
You asked who cares,
Maybe to you it's nobody,
But i do,
Yet again,who am I?
I am nobody all right,
I want to be the somebody to care,
I guess it's just not going to happen,
I keep looking at the sent folder,
Wishing I could take back what I sent,
But what is done is done,
Life has to go on,
Like what you always say.
